Things to Do
The Vessel is located in the Public Square of Hudson Yards and attracts tourists from all over the world. This work of art is an interactive, exploratory spiral staircase designed by Thomas Heatherwick and Heatherwick Studio with the purpose of allowing community members to enjoy new perspectives of the city from different heights and vantage points. Comprising 2,500 steps and 154 flights of stairs, this unique structure is the hub of Hudson Yards and one of the major draws of the neighborhood.
The Edge is the highest outdoor skydeck in the Western Hemisphere and features a one-of-a-kind design. Guests can venture to The Edge of the platform and gaze down 100 stories through a glass floor. Guests can see all the way from Central Park to the Statue of Liberty and beyond from this vantage point and if you’re brave enough, try the City Climb skyscraper adventure.
