Sofia is an accomplished luxury real estate advisor with over $500 million+ in sales completed to date.
A native of Marche, a region next to Tuscany and Umbria, Italy with fluency in four languages (English, Italian, French, and Spanish), she boasts not a stellar sales and service record, but a discerning clientele that spans the globe.
Sofia began her real estate career in Italy negotiating international real estate transactions that included the rental and sale of luxury villas. She moved to New York City in 2005 and continued to excel in her career, providing the highest level of service to her clientele from across the country and around the world, including clients from London, Paris, Dubai, Qatar, Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, Italy, Switzerland, China, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Israel.
Continuing to consistently rank every year among the top one percent of real estate agents nationwide and consistently being included in the list of the WSJ Real Trends America’s Best Real Estate Professional List, year after year, Sofia has been offering opportunities in the NYC real estate market to buyers based in 18 different countries, for the past 15 years. She also sold the most expensive property sold in Q4 of 2022, for $26MM USD.
She and her team, the Falleroni Team, specialize not only in identifying the correct investment opportunities, but in providing a sustainable fiscal structure for the investments and in reviewing the legal implications of owning in the USA: she and her Team offer a boutique personalized service, where they can refer CPA's, fiscal experts, real estate attorneys and other expert professionals, who specialize in ancillary services connected with the international acquisition of real estate assets.
She is most proud to be able to provide an array of services to clients, accompanying them from the beginning to the end of acquisitions and after. Her motto is "Domestic Knowledge and Global Reach", because she has a specialized knowledge of the Manhattan Market and a Global Reach due to her diverse background.
Specializing in the Manhattan luxury market, this seasoned broker has been regularly featured in such major publications as the Wall Street Journal, Real Deal, China Daily USA, Real Estate Weekly, and others. She holds the prestigious REBNY Certified Negotiation Expert designation, which distinguishes her as a skilled negotiator on her clients’ behalf.
Sofia is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and FIABCI, an international real estate federation with a presence in 60 countries. She is also a member of the Core Club and of the Italian American Chamber of Commerce of NY. In April 2015, out of hundreds of candidates, she achieved #3 status in the Native Society's Top 10 Rising Stars in NYC Real Estate Brokerage, nominated by her peers and judged by leaders of all major NYC real estate firms.


Sofia Falleroni was awarded the First Place in Residential Deal of the Year Award in 2022. The winning transaction required expert management to overcome unique regulatory and negotiating challenges in working with a foreign governmental entity buyer, as well as a significant surprise post-occupancy agreement request. Thanks to the professional acumen, quick thinking, humility and global and public sector relationships, the sale closed successfully.

On the creative side, she is a classically trained pianist and singer who loves music, gourmet food, reading, art, and travel. Sofia is also an avid runner and a NYC marathon runner dedicated to raising money for charitable causes, including the New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and Red Door Community (formerly named Gilda’s Club).
Sofia loves pets and shares her home with her beloved toy poodle Oscar.
